Alexis Thompson, his mother Amanda Thompson, and father Scott Thompson are his names. His ethnicity is white and she is an American through birth. Lexi inherited the golfing skills from her father, since she was a former golfer. Two of Lexi's brothers who will be mentioned are golfers who have made it to professional level. Lexis did her own homeschooling during high school. In September of 2012, she was admitted to Louisiana State University for an undergraduate diploma. In the past, she's graduated but what grade she earned from the institution is still to be revealed. Lexis was born into an athletic family, and she would have plenty of knowledge playing the game. The beginning of her golfing career proved to be a huge great success. She was the first woman to qualify in 2007 to compete in the US Women's Open. She didn't win the event, but she was able to win the Aldila Junior Classic in the following year, making her the second. The title was her first in American Junior Golf Association.
