Carey is a former top fashion model who stands at 5'10" was well-liked by American designers like Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren. Her father, an accomplished scientist who received the Rocky Mountain Association of Geologists' 1979 Scientist of the Year award is an accomplished scientist. As a result of his work, Carey was raised all over the world. While she attended in the University of Colorado, Carey started modeling for a side. The Ford model agency in New York noticed her and was willing to assist.
