Catherine Tate

CatherineCatherine Jane Ford (born 5 December 1969) popularly referred to as Catherine Tate, is an English actress, comedian and writer. Her work in The Catherine Tate Show, an BBC sketch comedy series has been recognized with numerous accolades. She was nominated for seven BAFTAs and an International Emmy Award. Tate was Donna Noble in Doctor Who's Christmas special of 2006. Then she reprised her role as the Tenth Doctor's frequent companion in the fourth season. [2] After The Catherine Tate Show's success, Tate played Joanie Taylor ("Nan") on the BBC One comedy series Catherine Tate's Nan (2009-2015), and in The Nan Movie (2022). In 2011, she was introduced to playing a regular role as Nellie Bertram in The Office, the U.S. version of The Office and became regular until the show was cancelled. [3] She was Miss Sarah Postern on BBC One's sitcom Big School (2013)-2014 and Magica De Spell on DuckTales (2017-2021). Tate had six roles in Hard Cell, the Netflix comedy show she co-wrote and directed with her co-writer.
